LEOMINSTER — Jennifer Gordon says the YMCA’s days of being “just a gym and swim” are long over.

Gordon, Regional Associate Executive Director of the YMCA of Central Massachusetts, points to the new Leominster Community Branch in City Place — which opened Thursday (Sept 24) — as evidence of the Y’s current mission.

It’s a place planning on keeping a full schedule from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
