We love when people are enthusiastic about making a difference in the community and last week we had an official Ambassador of Goodwill from the Harlem Globetrotters, Maxwell “Hops” Pearce, visit our Central Community Branch YMCA and tell us his story. Pearce and the Harlem Globetrotters Team demonstrate daily just how important it is to help others around you and build community while having fun! In Worcester, Pearce was at the Central Community Branch YMCA at 766 Main St., and spoke to children, youths, and a few adults.
“I’m just gonna tell my story and give them some really valuable lessons, speak to what my journey was like, and then I’ll show them some tricks,” Pearce said during an interview last week ahead of his visit.
