The flagship Central Community Branch YMCA found its current home in the heart of Worcester’s Main South neighborhood in 1920. The Central Branch is a safe haven, bringing together people from all backgrounds and walks of life, fostering relationships, and forming a rich and diverse community.
While we have been good stewards of the current property, time takes a toll and a new generation brings new ways of connecting and staying active. We know we must provide more opportunity for the 23,000+ people that live within a three mile radius of the Y. The needs of the community are changing. So must we.
