Available at our Westborough, Worcester, Leominster, Fitchburg, and Southbridge branches, our Child Watch offers a safe and engaging environment. Children have fun while engaging in imaginative play, arts and crafts, and active play sessions. Our staff members are trained to support their cognitive, physical, and social growth.

Activities in Child Watch and Kids in Action
Your children will enjoy many exciting activities in our Child Watch and Kids in Action programs. At Child Watch, your little ones will:Engage with kindhearted staff who support their learning, growth, and friendships.
- Explore imaginative play with building blocks, books, models, and play sets for various ages.
- Unleash their creativity in our arts and crafts area through painting, coloring, drawing, and structured projects.
- Get active in our Kids Gym with climbing, sliding, hopscotch, and bouncing in our bouncy house.
For older children (6-12), Kids in Action offers:
- A dedicated space away from younger children.
- Age-appropriate activities created by responsible staff.
- Fun-filled Back Yard Game Nights on Tuesdays, transforming our Program Room into a backyard atmosphere with games you and your child will love.

YMCA Child Watch Rules
To keep everyone safe and happy, we have a few guidelines for our Child Watch program. When you arrive, please fill out all necessary information on the sign-in sheet. Food isn't allowed in Child Watch or Kids in Action, but approved drinks and infant bottles are welcome. Personal toys and activities should stay at home to prevent loss or damage.
If your child is not potty trained, we'll find you if a diaper change or bathroom assistance is needed. Children who aren't feeling well and are out of school due to sickness should not attend. Coats and bags go in the designated cubbies, and children should keep their shoes on. Parents are welcome to come inside Child Watch when needed, and we ask that you stay on the premises while your child is in our care. Our staff will let you in to ensure controlled access for security.
