Have old documents piling up and want to dispose of them safely? Join Webster Five and the YMCA of Central Massachusetts for a Shred Day! We’re working with Pellegrino Trucking to provide you with secure document destruction and disposal. Bring those old bank statements and check shredding off of your to-do list.

Why Should You Shred?

• It protects you. Safely destroying documents with your information can help prevent identity theft by ensuring your details can’t be taken straight from the garbage bin.
• Shredding at a dedicated event is more eco-friendly. Because pieces are too small to be sorted, shredding on your own means recycled pieces often end up in landfill. Shredding at an event like this means that there is enough volume of shred to run and recycle a dedicated batch, no sorting needed.

As we say goodbye to summer, we want to say thank you to L.L.Bean! Their donation to the YMCA of Central Massachusetts allowed us to provide camp scholarships to 1,100 children and teens this summer.

We believe that camp is transformational and L.L.Bean’s gift helped ensure that young people—regardless of their background or circumstances—received access to a Y camp where they could thrive as they build friendships and developed their love of the outdoors.
