Central Community Branch Summer Programs
Our Leadership Development Programs at YMCA Summer Day Camp is a unique opportunity for teens to hone their leadership skills. This program is designed for those eager to grow and learn, focusing on enhancing personal growth and leadership attributes. Through service learning and adventure activities, teens work on building skills that are valuable both at camp and beyond.
Participants gain experience that benefits them in school, at home, and in their communities. By facing age-appropriate challenges, teens build confidence and capacity for working with people of all ages. If your teen is interested in leadership development, register them for one of our summer camp programs and watch them achieve and succeed.
YMCA Camp Blanchard
YMCA Camp Blanchard in Sutton is nestled on the picturesque Manchaug Pond, stretching over 15 acres of scenic beauty. This camp features open fields, a basketball court, a stunning waterfront, and three well-equipped activity cabins. Every camper is encouraged to dive into a diverse range of activities like free swimming, team building, games, arts and crafts, nature exploration, and science.
Bus transportation is available from the Central Branch YMCA in Worcester on a first-come, first-served basis. A typical day at Camp Blanchard starts with either free play or a structured activity, followed by opening ceremonies. Campers then immerse themselves in swimming, physical games, arts and crafts, reading, and STEM activities like boating. The day concludes with announcements and more fun before heading home.
YMCA Camp Boroughs
YMCA Camp Boroughs in Westborough offers a full day of engaging activities that keep campers happy and active all summer. Each week features a new theme that sparks creativity and excitement. Campers enjoy swimming, themed sports, arts and crafts, archery for ages seven and up, STEM projects, and thrilling water games.
Younger campers ages 3 to 6 get to experience swimming, theme-based activities, sports, nature exploration, snack and story time, and crafts with a low counselor-to-camper ratio of 1:5. Optional field trips to incredible locations like Six Flags and Brownstone Adventure Park make YMCA Camp Boroughs an unforgettable summer experience.
YMCA Camp Foskett
Situated on the stunning South Charlton Reservoir, YMCA Camp Foskett spans 114 acres of forested land and expansive fields. Our sandy beach area offers daily aquatic activities that kids love. Each week brings a new theme that inspires campers to dive into recreational swimming and lessons, outdoor cooking, games, themed projects, arts and crafts, nature hikes, science experiments, and team-building activities. Camp Foskett provides a diverse, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and make lifelong friends.
YMCA Camp Greendale on Indian Lake
YMCA Camp Greendale on Indian Lake in Worcester offers an amazing environment where kids can thrive and have tons of fun. Campers enhance social skills, build character, boost self-esteem, develop leadership abilities, support wellness, and embrace diversity. The Greendale Family Branch YMCA welcomes campers each week for an exciting and enriching experience.
Activities include traditional day-camp fun such as sports, recreational team games, STEM projects, arts and crafts, yoga, and project-based learning. Campers also enjoy swimming in the indoor pool and playing on the splash pad. YMCA Camp Greendale is the perfect setting for children to continue growing in their favorite activities while exploring new hobbies in a safe, supportive atmosphere.
YMCA Camp Lowe
YMCA Camp Lowe guarantees an unforgettable summer packed with exciting activities and fantastic staff. Located in Lancaster, our camp complies with all state and local health regulations and holds accreditation from the American Camping Association. We offer a wide array of camps tailored to your child's interests, nurturing leadership, independence, and self-esteem.
