Corporators are voting members of the YMCA of Central Massachusetts and are responsible for electing other Corporators and the Board of Directors. Corporators are elected to a term of three-years, commencing at the Annual Meeting and are eligible for re-election to one or more successive terms. Corporators may be invited to serve as active volunteers or committee members at the Branches/and or for the Association.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
Corporators are asked to show tangible support for the YMCA of Central Massachusetts in a variety of ways:
- Attend the Annual Meeting and participate in the election of Directors of the Board and Corporators.
- Learn about and support the Association’s programs and services and attend events as often as possible.
- Make an annual financial contribution to the “Annual” Campaign.
- Advocate on behalf of the YMCA mission and purpose in the community.
- Notify the President/CEO of any changes in contact information or a resignation.
